Christina Onassis

During my junior year in college, I read Jacqueline Onassis’ biography and one person caught my eyes; she is Christina Onassis, the only daughter of Aristotle Onassis. Christina was born rich with technically everything as long as money could buy it. But she lost her brother at age 25, and soon after her entire immediate family. As her father’s successor, she had to take over the family business and be as tough as a man in the business world. She though she grew up over night while in fact, she longed for love deep inside. She wouldn’t stop pursuing love, falling in love, and going into marriages.
Too obsessed with how she looked, she had eating disorder and finally died of oedema. There were many legendary people in the 60’s along with their unique fashion styles – such as Coco Chanel and her combination of manly outfit and extremely feminine accessories – that also reflect the characteristics of their time.
